Beyond the clinical

Built around your residents.
Not around our schedule.

Most transport providers treat your facility like a dispatch number. We treat it like a long-term partnership. Rocky Mountain Transportation was built specifically for healthcare facilities that need more than a van and a phone number. We provide dedicated transportation arrangements structured around your residents' recurring schedules — staffed by trained, credentialed drivers and managed by a team that knows your facility by name, not by account number.

We serve skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, adult day programs, and memory care centers. Our model is deliberately simple: you sign a service agreement, we handle everything, and you receive one clean invoice each month. No per-trip billing. No missed pickups. No scrambling to reach a dispatcher who doesn't know your residents.

A sanctuary in motion

Your residents deserve transport that feels like an extension of your care.

Every Rocky Mountain vehicle is maintained to the standard your facility expects. Every driver is background-checked, credentialed, and trained to work with individuals who have complex medical and mobility needs.

Dedicated vehicle and professional driver

Every route is confirmed in advance — not arranged the morning of. When a resident steps into a Rocky Mountain vehicle, they are in a calm, safe environment operated by someone hired specifically to serve your population.

Confirmed 24 hours in advance

Every scheduled route is confirmed the day before. Your staff knows who is arriving and when.

Credentialed and trained

Every driver holds current certifications, background clearances, and any compliance documentation your facility requires.

Ambulatory and wheelchair-accessible

We operate both ambulatory and fully equipped wheelchair-accessible vehicles under the same service agreement model.

Simple by design

The path to a service agreement

From first conversation to active operations, we keep it straightforward. Here is exactly what working with Rocky Mountain looks like.

01. Discovery

We start with a single conversation. Tell us about your facility, your resident population, your current transport challenges, and your scheduling needs. No intake forms to fill out before we talk. Just a real conversation with someone who understands healthcare operations.

02. Custom Proposal

Within five business days we deliver a proposal built around your actual situation — vehicle type, trip volume, service windows, and a clear monthly rate. Nothing generic. Nothing padded.

03. Agreement Review

We send a straightforward service agreement outlining your monthly rate, minimum trip volume, scheduling notice requirements, and cancellation terms. Most facility directors review and return it within a week. No legal department required.

04. Onboarding

Before a single trip runs, we learn your facility's calendar, your residents' recurring appointments, and your preferred communication protocols. Your dedicated account contact is introduced during onboarding — not after something goes wrong.

05. Operations Begin

Routes start on the agreed schedule. Confirmations go out in advance. Your account contact is available for anything that comes up. The first month is our opportunity to prove the model works exactly as described.

06. Ongoing Partnership

Monthly service reviews. Documented on-time performance. Proactive communication when anything in your residents' schedules changes. Your service agreement scales with your needs — volume thresholds and expansion terms are built in from day one.

Professional Alignment

Purpose-built for
your environment.

We work exclusively with healthcare facilities. Not individual clients. Not general logistics. Not mixed-use dispatch. Every operational decision we make is shaped by the specific demands of medical and care environments — because that is the only environment we operate in.

Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care

Your residents attend specialist appointments, dialysis, wound care, and therapy on recurring weekly schedules. We build dedicated routes around those schedules and staff them with drivers who understand the clinical sensitivity of your population.

Assisted Living & Memory Care

Consistency matters profoundly for your residents. We assign the same driver to the same routes — reducing anxiety, building familiarity, and ensuring every trip feels safe and predictable.

Adult Day Programs

You need transport that arrives before your program starts and returns residents home reliably at close. We build our routes around your facility's operating hours — not the other way around.

Common Questions

What facility directors ask us.

How does billing work?

We invoice your facility once per month based on the terms of your service agreement. No more tracking individual per-trip invoices or managing driver receipts.

Do you provide one-off trips?

No. We operate exclusively through service agreements with healthcare facilities. This allows us to guarantee vehicle availability and driver consistency for our partners.

Are your vehicles ADA compliant?

Yes. We operate a fleet of modern, fully ADA-compliant wheelchair-accessible vehicles as well as standard ambulatory vehicles.

How do we schedule trips?

Each facility is assigned a dedicated account coordinator. You simply provide your weekly or monthly schedule, and we manage the dispatch and confirmations.

What is your service area?

We currently serve the greater Rocky Mountain region, focusing on facilities within a 100-mile radius of our operational hubs.

Can we request specific drivers?

Consistency is a pillar of our model. We aim to assign the same drivers to your facility's recurring routes to build familiarity and trust with your residents.

Is there a minimum trip volume?

Yes. Our service agreements include a monthly trip minimum tailored to your facility's size and needs to ensure dedicated vehicle allocation.

Are your drivers medically trained?

Our drivers are professional transporters trained in CPR, first aid, and specific protocols for assisting residents with mobility and cognitive needs.

Do you work with facilities that have Medicaid clients?

It depends — the key factor is transport volume. We build partnerships around recurring scheduled routes, so facilities with consistent transport needs are the best fit regardless of payer mix. Not sure if your volume qualifies? Schedule a consultation and we'll be straight with you.
